Se ha creado un esfuerzo de recaudación de fondos de emergencia para las víctimas
de la crisis en el Pacífico que aconteció el 10 y 11 de Marzo de este año.
SL es una comunidad internacional, con una base fuerte en Japón en particular.
Este desastre es a nivel mundial y nos afecta a todos. Como comunidad que somos en
SL, nos hemos unido una y otra vez para ayudar en situaciones de emergencia.
En septiembre de 2010, se recaudaron 11.000 dólares para el fondo de alivio de la crisis
de las inundaciones en Pakistán (UNICEF) en un evento de SL. Un evento organizado en
cuatro días. Este es un ejemplo de lo que nuestra comunidad puede hacer, y estamos
preparándonos para un evento similar, simple pero eficáz.
Hacemos un llamado a todo aquel que desee participar en este evento para recaudar
fondos.
Vamos a proporcionar los vendor para donaciones a nombre de Charity Shelter.
Todos los diseñadores del evento donarán el 100% de las ventas a la misma cuenta.
Pedimos tu apoyo para colocarles en lugares públicos y asi recaudar lo mas que se pueda.
A los diseñadores, les pedimos que sus productos sean diferentes a los que ya venden
para así poder incentivar las ventas.

Requerimos que todas las marcas implicadas vendan un producto cuyas ganancias se
donen 100% a la causa, sin embargo, si vendes más de un producto, el siguiente lo
puedes donar al 100% o el 50%.

Pacific Crisis Fundraiser abrirá sus puertas al público el dia 16 de Marzo.
We are setting up an emergency fundraising effort for victims of the crisis in the Pacific that hit on March 10th/11th.
SL is an international community with a strong base in Japan. This disaster affects us all. SLers have risen up time and again to help in periods of distress, including very recently.
In September 2010, USD 11,000 was raised for the Pakistan flood crisis relief fund (UNICEF) at an SL event — an event organized in four days. This is an example of what our community can do, and we are attempting to prepare for a similar, simple but effective event.
We are calling for anyone who wishes to help with this fundraiser. We will be providing vendors that donate 100% of sales to a charity account (Charity Shelter) for people to place in their stores and at an event location. The products in these vendors don’t have to be new. But as you know, sales of new and exclusive items are higher and will enable us to raise more money. So even a variation of an existing product is appreciated.

We require all brands involved to have at least one product sold at 100% donation to the charity. Additional items may be set at 100% or 50% donation.
Please note that 100% of all money raised will go to the charity Americares. Land was donated by Glam Affair and all volunteers are giving their time without charge.
